Someone was kind and put a bridge across the "river" for us : - )
This is the Anza Trail - the trail the Spanish took from Mexico to settle San Francisco - it's a great trail to walk and think about all of those people who have walked it before all the way to CA. This was our Christmas day hike.

Yes, we do have a few days when it is warm enough to sunbathe - it is 3000 ft above sea level here and the fountains do freeze at night sometimes, but this day was perfect.
